Lotte van Drunen of the Beurspro KTM team will participate in the first of two qualifying races for the Italian Youth Championships next weekend. The race will take place at Cremona, and some 70 riders have entered for the class in which Lotte will participate.
Lotte is delighted to be able to participate in a high-level race, so that she can get a feel for where she is at this level. It is hard to say what she can expect in this very competitive 85cc class, but she hopes to qualify for the semi-final, and eventually to get to the final.
The lady from Sliedrecht has been training super hard over the last few months, and she has also shot up in length and bulk. She has alternated training on hard – and sand tracks, and worked mainly on improving her hardpack skills.
