Kay de Wolf of the Beursfoon KTM team won the international Goes Supercross in the Zeelandhallen. The Eersel-based rider was involved in tense battles on both days, but took the spoils on both Friday – and Saturday nights, for the overall victory.

In the week leading up to the event, Kay trained at the track a few times, as was permitted, and was fully prepared for battle.

Kay took holeshots in almost all of his races, and it was only in the second race on Friday that he started third. Even then, he moved into second position quickly, and when the leader bobbled in the whoops, he took the lead. In all the races, the top three riders were tightly spaced, which made for exciting racing for the spectators. Kay took the overall win, and was joined on the podium by Russian rider Nikita Kucherov and Dane Magnus Smith.
